Lactation Consultant

Duration: Full Time

Work Schedule:

5% FTE, 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:30pm-7:00am, You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials - $4/ hr evening, $5 hr night, and $4.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
  • Experience in patient education. Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
Work Experience
Licenses & Certifications
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure from the Illinois Department of Professional Registration. Required
  • Certification in lactation education preferred or must obtain with 18 months of assuming the position. Required
  • Bi-annual BLS certification. Required
