News Production Supervisor Job at Sinclair Broadcast Group in Cincinnati

WKRC is looking for our next Production Supervisor/Newscast Director to lead our production team. This position requires someone who is experienced, creative, and interested in developing others. This is not an entry level position and carries management responsibilities. In addition to management responsibilities, this person also directs two of our daily evening newscasts and takes the lead on special projects. Responsibilities: Perform any production duties as assigned including: Direct any assigned newscasts and productions Train production crew in cameras, audio, graphics, etc. Supervise production crew on a daily basis Maintain production studio and control room Maintain production/director schedules Requirements: Experience Directing newscasts Knowledge of production standards and equipment Full working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure Typing and good spelling skills necessary Ability to read and write, college degree preferred Must be able to lift & position 40-pound lighting instruments EEO AND INCLUSIVITY: Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
