Job Description

CSCI Consulting is looking for a

Senior Business Analyst

to support our

enterprise healthcare client . In this role, the consultant will work closely with the Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to the replacement of a large, enterprise-scale technology platform, ensuring business requirements are thoroughly captured and successfully transitioned.
Responsibilities

Partner with the Project Manager to support planning, direction, and coordination of a large enterprise technology replacement initiative

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and gather detailed functional and non-functional requirements

Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews

Develop and document business process models illustrating current and future-state workflows

Translate roadmap features into clear, actionable user stories

Propose and design technical and process solutions aligned with business objectives

Communicate and validate requirements with business and technical stakeholders

Construct workflow diagrams, system specifications, and supporting documentation

Serve as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external partners

Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to optimization efforts

Communicate findings and recommendations to the Project Manager for stakeholder and executive updates

Participate in testing, validation, and acceptance of new systems and processes

Assist with project management activities as needed to ensure successful delivery

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role

5+ years of experience with project management methodologies and tools

5+ years of experience leading, facilitating, and motivating teams on medium to large-scale IT initiatives

5+ years of experience working with stakeholders to achieve business goals

5+ years of experience facilitating and leading requirements gathering sessions

5+ years of experience creating and managing user stories

5+ years of experience managing projects to successful completion

Strong understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), preferably in a hybrid Agile environment

Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting of functional and basic technical components

Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving

Ability to work with clients to understand their needs

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Professional presence

Preferred Skills

Prior experience working within the healthcare industry

Strong understanding of healthcare enterprise systems

Experience working in large-scale system replacement or modernization initiatives

Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently

Strong customer and vendor relationship skills

Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies

Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value

Past experience working with a state/local government agency
