Must be able to drive yard tractor so as to move trailers to dock

Main Purpose of the Job:
Conducts and provides Warehousing services in a professional manner to assigned
departments with highest efficiency and accuracy.
- Following shipment procedures
- Ensures all shipment procedures are followed in accordance to customer
requirements - Ensures all Forklift Operators are trained in procedures and follow them
- Delegation and Coordination
- Ensures all Fork Lift Operators know their work responsibilities
- Proper Training of new hires
- Areas of inventory knowledge
- Inventory locations
- Dock and Fork Lift/Clamp Truck Operations
- Safety
- Warehouse policies and procedures
- Communication between other Warehouse Team Leads
- Provides written and verbal communication to other team leads to
provide coordinated efforts for highest department efficiency
- Preparing finished product to ship to customer
- Adheres to performance standards in quality and quantity (Checking for
damages as well as count) - Prints Bills of Lading
- Ensures good housekeeping within the warehouse
Must be able to drive yard tractor so as to move trailers to dock
Requirements
What Makes You Great
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing or distribution
- Min 2 years of experience as Fork Lift Operator preferred
- Certified Fork Lift Operator
- Computer skills
- Lead skills
- Safety awareness and quality consciousness
