Overview Audacy Atlanta is currently seeking On‑Air talents for its group of stations, WVEE, WAOK, WZGC, and WSTR. Applicants must be familiar with running broadcast equipment, editing, and social media, and must be creative. Willingness to make station appearances and be client‑friendly is required. We welcome master content creators who can carry on a relatable, entertaining, and engaging conversation with our audience in a 360° world encompassing on‑air, online, and on‑site content and who have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
Participate in and create original content for all social media platforms; manage online personality presence.
Protect the station’s FCC license.
Monitor the music and commercial logs for the air shift.
Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly.
Operate the control board and perform production work.
Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts.
Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications The position requires frequent sitting at the broadcast board, speaking into a microphone, and manipulating board controls. Applicants must be able to sit, use hands and fingers to handle tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear, and meet vision requirements. We require talent who can work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and cover for full‑time talent as needed, and who possesses a valid driver’s license, satisfactory motor vehicle record check, and if the position requires use of the applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance.
Excellent communicator with strong creative skills.
Solid production skills and strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on‑air and production execution, including on‑air digital systems such as Audio Vault and RCS Master Control.
Knowledge of the format and audience required.
Excellent on‑air voice with a demonstrated track record.
A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance.
