Prime Air is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop low and high voltage power electronics hardware and related electrical power systems for Prime Air Drones. You will work with internal and external vendors to support hardware development, manufacturing and test. You will also be responsible for building prototype hardware, leading test planning and execution, and documenting results throughout the development process.
Basic Qualifications
BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
5+ years of hardware engineering experience
Experience designing inverter and converter circuits
Knowledge and experience with embedded control of power electronic circuits
Experience leading PCBA board Bring‑Up and validation testing
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of scripting languages (bash, python, etc.)
Experience with harness design and drawings
Experience with lab equipment, hardware interfaces, embedded systems, or device communication protocols
DO‑160 Test Experience (EMI and RF preferred)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
