As a mid-level Air Traffic Controller, you will manage the safe and orderly flow of aircraft within assigned airspace and on the ground. You will utilize advanced radar systems and communication protocols to provide critical instructions to pilots during all phases of flight. Your role involves making high‑stakes decisions under pressure to minimize delays while maintaining strict adherence to aviation regulations and safety standards.

Role Summary
Purpose: Manage the safe and orderly flow of air traffic within assigned airspace, utilizing advanced AI‑augmented sequencing tools while ensuring strict compliance with the EU AI Act safety‑critical regulations.

Impact: Directly responsible for the lives of thousands of passengers daily and the reduction of aviation's carbon footprint through optimized flight path management.

Team Structure
Works within a high‑performance watch team of 12 controllers, supported by AI System Technicians and Flow Managers.

Reports To
Reports to the Sector Operations Manager.

Working Conditions
Travel Required: 5%

24/7 rotating shift pattern: 2 days on (morning), 2 days on (afternoon), 2 days on (night), 4 days off. Mandatory 30‑minute break every 2 hours.

Physical Requirements
Ability to sit/stand for extended periods with high visual focus
