Job Type: Begins as Part-Time
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Position Overview
As a CNA at Anam Memory Care, you will provide hands-on care and support to residents while promoting dignity, comfort, and quality of life. You will be an essential member of a collaborative care team focused on safety, engagement, and person-centered memory care.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, eating, and mobility
Monitor and document resident health status, behaviors, and changes in condition
Support residents with mobility and transfers using proper safety techniques
Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming living environment
Encourage participation in daily routines and life enrichment activities
Communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, and leadership regarding resident needs
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
Provide compassionate emotional support to residents and families
Qualifications
Required:
Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach
Preferred:
Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or memory care
Experience working with individuals living with dementia
CPR certification
