What You'll Do as an Assembler:
- You'll help build the technology that keeps the world connected!
- Read work orders and blueprints to assemble parts correctly
- Aligning, connecting, and securing components using tools and fixtures
- Performing hands-on tasks like crimping, soldering, or screwing parts into place
- Assembling and mounting electronic hardware and multi-level subassemblies
- Using machines to shape, wind, or press components
- Inspecting your work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Troubleshooting and reporting production issues
- Performing preventative maintenance on machinery
- Specialized responsibilities may apply based on assignment (e.g., soldering, labeling, data collection, or system assembly).
The Preferred Candidate Will Bring:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly
- Electrical and Wiring Experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Proficiency with various hand tools and basic mechanical skills.
- Basic math and computer proficiency.
- Ability to work with small components, sometimes using a microscope, requiring close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Positive attitude, commitment to quality, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
