Your Opportunity:Taylor Corporation is seekingaProduction Supervisor thatis responsible foroverseeing daily production activities to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role involves managing a team of production workers, ensuring product quality, and meeting production targets while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Your Responsibilities:
Practice the Taylor Core Values
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.
Monitor production processes and adjustpriorities priority and personnelas needed to meet targets.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas tomaintainsafety and operational standards.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g.,Quality Control, Maintenance) to address issues andoptimizeproduction flow.
Maintainaccurateproduction records and reports for management review.
Implement andmonitorproduction metrics to drive performance improvements.
Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts within the team.
Attend Scheduling meetings and proactively report out on delivery
Inform the Manager of jobs in jeopardy of missing a due date.
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues.
Coordinate a training program that successfully elevates employee capability and performance.Managesthe dailyproductivity against the production schedule and quickly resolves performance issues.
You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Previousexperience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership, motivational,and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Familiarity with production scheduling software and tools.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.
Requirements within this position:
Regularly required to stand/walk for long periods of time
Routinely operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).
We would also prefer:
Previous experience working in print
Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing experience
Experience with environmental and safety regulations
The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
