Job Title

As part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug-in hybrids. At Magna, you will be part of an international, dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality products and shaping the future of mobility.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities include:

• Assembling parts by operating machines or using manual methods
• Performing sanding and buffing of parts.
• Lifting and moving of parts (up to 40lbs) from station to station
• Reading and following all work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards. Reporting any deviations immediately.
• Training other employees as needed.
• Work hours are 5:50am-2:00pm, 6:50am-3:00pm or 2:50pm-11:00pm. Monday-Friday, working Saturdays when required

Requirements for Job Holders

The requirements for job holders include:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is required.
• Ability to perform sustained and repetitive motion for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day.
• Good vision at a close distance is required
