Mechanical Concepts LLC is an established equipment distribution and service company with a strong track record, now expanding into the South Louisiana market. We are the factory-authorized service and warranty provider for Daikin commercial equipment.

This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role and help build our local parts operation from the ground up-driving day-to-day performance, supporting technicians and customers, and directly influencing how the business grows in the market.

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on HVAC Parts Store Manager to build and lead a high-performing parts operation in the New Orleans / Metairie area.

This is not a typical parts manager role. You will be responsible for building the operation, developing the team, and establishing a parts department known for responsiveness, reliability, and strong customer service.

The right candidate will take ownership, lead from the front, and create a culture that supports contractors, technicians, and service teams at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

* Build, lead, and develop a high-performing parts team

* Drive sales through strong relationships with contractors, technicians, and service teams

* Oversee daily operations of the parts store

* Lead by example through active involvement in daily operations and doing any task you expect from your team

* Manage inventory strategy, product mix, and stock levels

* Ensure accurate inventory control and accountability

* Establish competitive pricing while maintaining strong margins

* Support contractors, technicians, and service teams with orders, technical questions, and issue resolution

* Handle escalated issues professionally and efficiently

* Monitor market trends and competitor activity

* Develop local strategies to grow the customer base

* Solid understanding of HVAC parts and the needs of contractors, technicians, and service teams

* Ability to build strong relationships with contractors, technicians, service teams, and internal staff

* Experience with inventory management and pricing

* High level of ownership, accountability, and decision-making ability

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent HVAC industry experience

* 6-8+ years of HVAC parts, distribution, or sales experience

* 4+ years of leadership experience

* Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) preferred

* Accounts payable/receivable experience is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

* Compensation structured to be among the best in the market for experienced candidates
