Machine Operator

Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment, including mechanical separators and centrifuges.Load beef trimmings into equipment according to production specifications.Continuously monitor product flow, equipment performance, and finished product quality.Conduct quality control checks, including texture, color, temperature, and moisture assessments.Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance when repairs are needed.Accurately complete production logs, downtime records, and quality documentation.Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.Follow all health, safety, and USDA food handling regulations.Assist with equipment shutdown, cleaning, and reassembly as needed.Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.1+ year of experience in meat processing, food production, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, adjust, and troubleshoot production machinery.Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP knowledge is a plus).Ability to work in a cold environment (3545F) for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for long shifts.Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team.Work Environment:Cold, wet, and physically demanding production environment.Regular exposure to raw meat products, mechanical equipment, and cleaning chemicals.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.Fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere
