This hands-on role is responsible for all bindery and paper finishing operations trimming, folding, scoring, punching, binding, and more across every product line. You'll be a key part of making sure every product that leaves our studio is finished to the brand's quality and aesthetic standard.WHAT YOU'LL DOPerform all bindery and finishing operations: trimming, folding, scoring, punching, and bindingOperate and maintain bindery equipment safely and efficientlyInspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and completenessCoordinate with Production Assistants on notebook binding and assemblyAssist the Head of Production with bindery scheduling and workflow planningHelp train and guide Production Assistants on bindery techniquesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORProficient bindery skills and experience with bindery equipment paper trimmers, perf/score equipment, coil binding, and shrinkwrap tunnelsExperience with cutting, folding, scoring, and binding techniquesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable, organized, and able to work at pace in a production environmentTeam player willing to support wherever neededADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to work and collaborate with other members of the teamMay occasionally involve climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or lifting boxes up to 30 lbsMust be able to manage deadlinesMay occasionally travel to other locations for workMay be required to work on weekends and/or holidaysExhibits a positive attitude, with a can-do and customer-first focus with all customersOther related tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to timeABOUT AND HERE WE AREAnd Here We Are, Ltd. is a nationally recognized stationery and gift brand.
