Experience: Zero to six months (0-6 months) of experience in manufacturing processes, repair of equipment and tools, basic knowledge using Tooling equipment and leadership
What You’ll Do
The Toolmaker I has the responsibility of planning and building parts, molds and components of manufactured products following established tolerances using basic precision tools and related machinery. Work with drawings and verbal or written instructions. Follows safety regulations, quality standards, and policies and procedures established by the company.
Required Qualifications
Education: Technical Degree in Welding, Tooling or Mechanics and/or Course completed and approved in ‘Machine Shop’ (Die-making)
Valid driver’s license
Demonstrate mastery of basic tool room equipment
Intermediate level English; Read and write advanced level
Knowledge in the thermal treatment of materials
Knowledge of welding
Knowledge to read and interpret schematics
Knowledge of processes linked to Quality, ISO 9001 and ISO14001
Knowledge of processes and tools tied to the Lean methodology
Knowledge and ability to use the Windows operating system
Ability to interpret and read plans
Knowledge in the management of advanced level production machinery
Knowledge in molding, stamping, welding and phofate
Knowledge of LOTO
Knowledge of electrical risks
Knowledge of fall protection
Knowledge in the handling of chemical materials
Knowledge of security guards
Knowledge in crane operation
Knowledge in mathematics basic
Knowledge of advanced level product and/or process inspection
Technical knowledge in health and safety
Knowledge of parts manufacturing advanced level
Experience in the preparation and adjustments of intermediate level production machinery
Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems
Troubleshooting
Ability to plan your tasks daily and/or coordination
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of injection molding processes
Strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to participate in continuous learning and skill development opportunities
Pay Details
$15.00 to $15.75 per hour
