Impact
As a Subcontract Administrator for our Guaynabo, Puerto Rico location, you will be responsible for contracting all standard to complex professional and/or construction services. You may lead small projects (Total Installed Cost of $50M or less) while applying best practices to solve basic problems and handling day‑to‑day subcontracting tasks with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

Utilize established policies, procedures, systems, and tools.

Manage the procurement of subcontracted services and administer procurement agreements and change orders to accomplish project objectives.

Review subcontract‑related invoices and ensure approval in accordance with terms and conditions agreed within the subcontract.

Evaluate facts surrounding subcontract‑related problem areas and apply remedies to resolve them.

Maintain subcontracting documentation in a repository.

Identify and advise management of subcontract‑related risks.

Manage the procurement process, including planning, development of bidder lists, qualification of bidders, preparation of requests for quotation, and bid evaluations.

Recommend source selections and lead subcontract negotiations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, or operations management, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience in construction contracting.

2–5 years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects is preferred.

Knowledge of preparing proposal deliverables such as pricing of subcontracted services, execution approach narratives, and labor hour estimates for subcontracting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $64,000.00 to $110,000.00. Pay is determined by location and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience and education.
