**Metal Grinder - Aerospace (3rd Shift)**
Location: Metro Detroit, MI (Warren area)
Pay: up to $21/hour + 15% shift differential
Schedule: Sunday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer in the Metro Detroit area to identify Metal Grinders for 3rd shift opportunities. This role supports precision finishing and deburring of aerospace components in a quality-driven manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Operate deburring and grinding equipment to meet work instruction requirements
+ Achieve required edge breaks and radii per specifications
+ Select proper deburring media based on job requirements
+ Perform hand drilling, drill press operations, tapping, and basic assembly work
+ Inspect parts for visual defects and surface finish compliance
+ Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, thread/radius gages)
+ Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications
+ Complete work order documentation and maintain material traceability
+ Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment
+ Follow all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ 1-2 years of related experience in grinding, deburring, or machining preferred
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
+ Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
+ Experience using precision measuring tools
+ Strong attention to detail and quality standards
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
+ Team-oriented with strong organizational skills
+ Must be authorized to work in the United States
