Internship Summary:
This position involves supporting the C+FS PR and Development team on Public Relations projects.
Major Responsibilities/Activities May Include but are not limited to:
Writing:
Press Releases
Articles for C+FS website
Articles for C+FS Intranet
Graphic Design:
Flyers
Banners
Social Media
Communications:
Internal and external messaging
Pitching story ideas for the media
Development:
Assist Development Team with donor prospecting
Utilize Fundraising Software, Raiser's Edge to help manage donor portfolios
Help accept donations in support of the Development team receiving in‑kind gifts to help facilitate building donor relationships
Assist the Development team with event organization, meeting preparation and donation drives as needed.
Education Requirements:
In an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.
Enrollment in a credit bearing program.
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling but must be able to work at the office location during work hours.
This is an unpaid internship for college credit.
