borea is a French recruitment firm specialized in energy transition and renewable gases, supporting companies and talents accelerating global decarbonization.

We are currently supporting one of our clients in the recruitment of an:

International Business Development Manager – Renewable Molecules

Geographical scope: United States (California) – Canada – South America

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Travel: Frequent international travel

Our client develops and operates innovative, decentralized solutions across multiple renewable molecule value chains, including:

Biogas upgrading to biomethane (grid injection)

Bio‑CNG / Bio‑LNG solutions

Decentralized capture and liquefaction of food‑grade BioCO₂

Distribution and logistics of renewable CO₂ in short, local supply loops

Decentralized green BioH₂ production via steam reforming

ISO 22000 certification in progress (expected Q1 2026)

The US, Canadian and South American markets are strategic, high‑growth regions for renewable molecules and low‑carbon solutions. In this context, the company is strengthening its international commercial organization to establish a long‑term presence in these markets.

Your Role
International Business Development (Projects & Solutions)

Identify and develop new international markets and multi‑solution projects.

Prospect and engage large industrial accounts (food & beverage, agribusiness, energy, industrial gases).

Build value propositions aligned with North and South American market standards.

Lead project negotiations and strategic partnerships.

Renewable Molecules Business Development (Volumes & Contracts)

Develop sales of high value‑added renewable molecules.

Negotiate long‑term supply agreements (volumes, pricing structures, indexation, logistics).

Secure commercial outlets within a robust industrial and financial framework.

Cross-Functional Responsibilities

Build and manage a network of commercial, industrial and logistics partners.

Represent the company at industry clusters, associations and international trade shows.

Work closely with international management and technical teams.

Monitor commercial performance and report market insights and strategic risks.

Your Profile

Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent.

Proven experience in international business development, ideally in the US market, within:

Biomethane / biogas

Food & beverage

Strong ability to negotiate complex, long‑term contracts.

Fluent English required; strong international mindset.

Attractive compensation package: base salary + performance‑based variable (depending on region and results).

Potential evolution toward Regional Director or International Management roles, based on performance.
