Our extensive industry relationships and experience allow us access to some of the best, lab tested and safe cannabis products available at affordable prices. We are looking for professional Budtenders & Cannabis Enthusiasts. As a Budtender, you are the face of Velvet Cannabis focused on providing an exceptional customer experience.Budtender Responsibilities: Act in a professional manner, greeting customers, and facilitating sales, ensuring exceptional customer experienceAdvising customers on cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and interests Keeping up to date with the cannabis industry standards, new products, strains, and changes in laws, as well as industry trends Processes customer transactions using Velvets Point of Sale (POS) system.Ensuring the dispensary is clean, stocked, and well-organized at all timesEducating customers on the safe use of cannabis products provided at Velvet DispensaryUpsells when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, discounts, etc.Verifying proper identification of customers to verify they are of legal age to purchase and consume products offeredMaintains the professional appearance of the sales floorInventory of cannabis productsEnsuring sales floor is always stocked and well-organized Assisting in various dispensary operations while maintaining hygienic conditionsAbility to remain stationary position for a minimum of 3 hoursAbility to stand, walk, stoop and kneel Ability to grasp, finger, and reach Ability to effectively communicate Budtender Requirements: Previous Cannabis experience preferred Knowledge of cannabis strains and their benefits, effects, etc.Outstanding customer service & communication skills Attention to detail & multi-tasked oriented A passion & interest for all things cannabis Drive to go above and beyond for your team and your customer Benefits & Perks Comprehensive paid time off package including two weeks of vacation accrued annually based on a 40 hour work week, plus sick time and volunteer time offComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits and a 401k plan for eligible employees starting after your first 30 daysCompany provided onsite snacks and beverages Employee discounts, product samples, company sponsored events, and additional employee perksA dynamic, fast-paced work environment with a passionate team of cannabis enthusiastsVelvet Cannabis is a fast-paced, dynamic environment looking for team members to join our amazing team.
