Candidates must be willing to travel between our two locations in Cedar Park and Georgetown as we split our time between the two offices. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following proper sterilization techniques to maintain a safe clinical environmentAssist dentist chairside during various procedures, including placing various orthodontic appliances, routine adjustments, gingival and enamel contouring, and fabricating retainers.Take and develop dental X-rays and medical imaging, ensuring proper technique and patient safety in compliance with HIPAA regulationsManage patient records using Dolphin patient softwareMonitor vital signs and assess patient comfort before, during, and after treatments to promote overall well-beingProvide dental education to patients about procedures, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment careSupport administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with dental receptionists and updating medical records in accordance with HIPAA standardsMaintain infection control protocols, including proper disposal of contaminated materials and sterilization of instrumentsProficiency with dental software systems Experience with X-ray techniques, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools used in orthodontic practicesKnowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental assisting rolesAbility to perform chairside assisting efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques for increased productivityFamiliarity with infection control standards and sterilization techniques to ensure patient safetyStrong understanding of HIPAA regulations for safeguarding patient informationExperience working in pediatric dentistry or with pediatric patients is a plusExcellent communication skills when interacting with patients and team membersBereavement leaveContinuing education creditsEmployee discountFree parkingOpportunities for advancementPaid sick timePaid time offPaid training**Willing to train the right candidate** Registered Dental Assistant Certification (Required)
