Job Description
Communications technicians will complete data and fiber optic installations. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities you will be completing the following:
Pulling, termination, and testing horizontal data cables.
Fitting out communications rooms in new and existing spaces.
Installing, terminating, splicing and testing fiber optic cables.
Operating tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures.
Ability to work in commercial, healthcare, and industrial environments.
Supervision and training of communications installers and/or apprentices.
Qualifications
4+ Years of experience recommended.
Own your own hand tools.
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
