
Publishing Administration Intern Job at Helix Records in New York

Payday Music Publishing is seeking a curious, detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Publishing Administration team from mid-June through end of August. This is a hands‑on opportunity to build real‑world experience in music publishing at the ground level — learning the systems and processes that keep songwriters’ rights protected and their royalties flowing.
What You'll Do
You’ll work closely with our Publishing Administration team to organize and register new songs and works, ensure accurate registrations with collection societies, file copyrights with the US Copyright Office, and keep writer and work data current. Beyond that, you’ll have the chance to collaborate cross‑functionally with our Licensing and A&R teams, as well as our partner label, Helix Records — giving you a well‑rounded view of the industry.

This internship runs mid‑June through end of August and is available full‑or part‑time, with a minimum of 3 days per week at our Chelsea, NYC office. Please note this position is for academic credit only .
