FIRE ALARM RADIO TECHNICIAN - ILLINOIS

is searching for TWO (2) experienced

Radio Technician

with knowledge in

Fire Alarm

communication technology. In this role, you will install, service, maintain, and test AES Radio devices and related fire alarm communication systems. You'll travel to customer sites daily, ensuring all radio networks and life safety communication systems operate efficiently and meet compliance standards.

KEYS:

6 Months experience

withInstallation, programming, and servicing

AES Radio devices , fire alarm communicators, and related systems
Maintain and troubleshoot

Fire Alarm communication systems

to ensure reliability
Perform regular

testing and signal verification

to meet safety and compliance standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install, program, and service

AES Radio devices , fire alarm communicators, and related systems
Maintain and troubleshoot

Fire Alarm communication systems

to ensure reliability
Perform regular

testing and signal verification

to meet safety and compliance standards
Accurately document service activities, issues, and resolutions in company systems
Communicate clearly with customers and provide updates on service progress
Travel daily to customer locations; occasional overnight travel may be required
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company protocols
QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

Minimum 6 months in Fire Alarm service
Technical Skills:

Understanding of wireless communication systems, radio frequency equipment, and low-voltage technologies
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Customer-focused, dependable, and detail-oriented
EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent

required ; technical or associate degree

preferred
CERTIFICATIONS:

OSHA 10/30
