Licensed Therapist

$5,000 sign-on bonus

for full-time Therapists!

We are hiring an INPATIENT LICENSED THERAPIST (LSW, LISW, LPC, and/or LPCC) with experience to join our award winning inpatient staff.

The Windsor-Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine is a 159-bed facility located in beautiful Willoughby, Ohio, which is a short drive from downtown Cleveland. Recognized as a Top Performer by The Joint Commission, the hospital provides 24-hour care and serves children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues. Our multidisciplinary treatment team includes board certified psychiatrists, psychologists, registered nurses, licensed social workers, case managers, and milieu and activity therapists. Windsor-Laurelwood also features a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit for adults, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs. We are looking for a dynamic therapist with Chemical Dependency experience to join our award winning Inpatient staff and facilitate an IOP group for chemical dependency.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
As a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, the

Inpatient Therapist

provides direct patient care including: completion of psychosocial assessments, formulation of treatment plans, provision of psychotherapy groups, crisis safety plans and completion of discharge planning.
The Therapist interfaces with referral sources, community service agencies, businesses, employers, and healthcare facilities. The therapist will be responsible for maintaining communication with patients' families and support systems.
The Therapist may participate in crisis intervention situations, where verbal de-escalation techniques and safety planning are required.
The Therapist ensures compliance for quality patient care and compliance with the Joint Commission standards, State Health Department requirements, and all other regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Education/Licensure:
Master's degree in social work or counseling from an accredited college or university. Candidate must possess a LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC issued by the State of Ohio, to qualify for the position. Two years previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility with direct experience with group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning required.
