This reporter will use AI tools while also applying traditional journalism skills to generate content for The Palm Beach Post news and sports departments and the Palm Beach Daily news. This means producing multiple stories per day through press releases, notes and information from viable sources and turning them into accurate, polished pieces to be published, with photos and videos.

They will create videos for some of their content to share on social media and our sites. They will work with the Palm Beach Daily News during the social season (October through mid‑May) to help create photo galleries and videos of social events to drive traffic. They may use AI‑assisted reporting to generate, or help generate, social listings for the Palm Beach Daily News and other listings for The Palm Beach Post. They also will assist The Palm Beach Post and Palm Beach Daily News in repackaging and/or localizing stories to maximize traffic, whether from each other, the Florida state team, our regional teams and/or USA TODAY. They would have the opportunity to develop their news and technical skills, including learning how to manage and utilize AI technology effectively.
