General Laborer Positions

We are looking for qualified candidates for general laborer positions at a company located in Houston, TX. Requirements include the ability to perform physical work and lift objects as needed, availability to work full shifts and overtime if required, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Previous warehouse or production experience is preferred but not required. Compliance with workplace safety regulations is mandatory.

Job Duties

1. Order Picking: Locate and retrieve the correct items and quantities from warehouse shelves based on order slips or electronic scanners.
2. Quality Control: Inspect picked items for any damage or defects before packing.
3. Packing: Securely place items into appropriate containers using necessary packing materials and ensure they are protected during transit.
4. Labeling: Apply correct shipping labels, barcodes, and other identification to packages.
5. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by updating stock levels after items are picked, which may also include restocking shelves.
6. Shipping Preparation: Prepare packages for the next stage of the shipping process, which may include loading them onto trucks or conveyor systems.
