Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Job Summary An innovative engineering firm is looking to hire a CAD Designer to support its growing team. This is a full-time, permanent role suited for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and proficiency in CAD design tools. The role involves working closely with engineers and project teams to create, validate, and document mechanical designs across various applications.
Ideal Candidate Attributes Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and system design.
Experience in design for sheet metal manufacturing processes.
Experience in building or supporting complex mechanical assemblies or systems.
Ability to manage individual tasks while contributing in a team environment.
Responsibilities Develop detailed mechanical designs, models, and drawings using CAD tools.
Support prototype assembly and testing to validate design performance.
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure system integration.
Prepare technical documentation including drawings, specifications, manuals, and reports.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
Assist manufacturing and production teams with design-related inquiries during build phases.
