L&W Supply is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. L&W Supply delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.
L&W Supply is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support its strategic growth and maximize sales. This position will cover our Red River district that includes: Northeast Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Specific duties may include:
Overseeing strategic regional customer relationships
Serving as the point of contact for all national accounts projects in assigned geography
Working with the Region Vice President and District Managers to manage national builder relationships and coordinate all activities with the national builder team
Developing focus targets in each market and leading the effort to expand customer base
Leading and developing the district residential strategy by market
Identifying targets by market and assisting in matching branch capabilities to opportunities
Driving growth by identifying potential acquisition targets and green field opportunities
Specific qualifications include:
College degree in business, sales or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Sales experience within the construction industry is preferred
Time management, organizational and planning skills
Ability to travel 75%-100% of the time
Self-motivated with a team focus
Valid driver’s license
