Our Company is the exclusive supplier of the ARAMIS three‑dimensional deformation and strain measurement system developed by Carl Zeiss GOM Metrology in Germany for the United States. We support a broad range of industries including Aerospace, Sports/Biomechanics, Microelectronics, Automotive, DOD, Industrial plants and Civil Structures with advanced measurement technology and professional engineering consulting services. SUMMARY Technical Account Managers (TAM) are the primary resource, trusted business advisor and point of contact for our customers. They are responsible for actively pursuing and managing new opportunities in their assigned territory as well as driving both the technology evaluation stage and the customers purchase process. You will be required to identify and provide tailored solutions that meet your customers business objectives while addressing their technical challenges to assure complete customer satisfaction. The Technical Account Managers must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with Trilion's customers throughout the project life‑cycle, from the initial definition of the technical recommendations, to the purchasing, delivery, implementation and support of the selected measurement systems. By maintaining a long‑term relationship with their customers, a TAM gains an understanding of the customer’s overall business, goals, and challenges to enable continuous growth of the account and to ensure that the customer can achieve their business outcomes successfully using Trilion technologies. The newly‑hired TAM can expect an accelerated growth‑path to complete autonomy within 6‑8 months. The compensation is base salary plus commission and the possibility of bonuses. Hiring process will end by April 30th with a desired start date of May 6th.
RESPONSIBILITIES Cover a territory focused around the Twin Cities, the Greater Chicago area and encompassing the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Wisconsin and Missouri as well as the rest of Minnesota and Illinois.
Present our 3D Testing solutions to a wide range of industries including automotive, aerospace, power generation (propulsion and ground based, medical and consumer goods) via presentations, demonstrations, cost benefit analysis (ROI), Proof Of Concept engagements, and service projects
Identify customer's needs and opportunities for future growth
Design and develop tailored proposals
Establish and manage new accounts utilizing our sales process from initial contact through PO
Implement an organized and structured methodology for weekly work schedule to call on and address prospects, identified potential opportunities and installed base customers
Work in tandem with our technical team to present solutions and benefits for that specific prospect and their industry
Detailed and accurate forecasting of territory opportunities
Maintain accurate records of customers contacts in company's database
Communicate and update management on a regular basis
Coordinate analysis and reports of customer's projects with the Engineering team
Travel (up to 40%) to customers locations in North America (mainly day trips within driving or flying distance) to perform technical demonstrations and conduct business meetings
Travel requirements will involve visits to the Pacific and Great Lakes offices as well as our headquarter a few times a year and will likely increase towards the 40‑60% mark as the TAM reaches complete autonomy and establishes its position in his assigned territory and if conditions permit
Support existing accounts to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction as well as identify and derive ROI for additional system opportunities
Develop and maintain intermediate level of product knowledge and sufficient proficiency of the systems to demonstrate its capabilities
Other sales and account support related duties
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
US Citizen or Permanent resident only
BA/BS in Engineering, Business, Economy, Technical Field, or equivalent successful experience
Ability to understand basic mechanical engineering concepts
Outbound phone experience required
Sound knowledge of PC use and applications
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to articulate technical information in a simplistic and concise manner
Willingness to travel up to 60%
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Self‑motivated and guided
Strong Team Member
