Responsibilities
The Director of Clinical Services provides the leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services programs offered at the facility, ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility's performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administrative processes and management systems for all clinical services offered at the facility, including oversight of professionally trained staff designated for provision of direct behavioral healthcare services, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of a clinical treatment program. Responsibilities also include oversight of areas of case management and documentation including Medical Records and Utilization Review.
Qualifications
Education
: Graduateof an accreditedMastersDegree Program.
Experience
: Minimumof five (5)years experienceinpsychiatric/mental health field.Prefer candidates with aminimum of three (3)years experiencein advanced clinical/management practice.
License:
Appropriate statelicensure,LCSW or LPC required.
Additional Requirements
: A strong knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
