What to Expect
The Design Studio Architectural team is looking for a talented, motivated, and creative individual to join us in a rewarding and fast-paced work environment. The candidate will work alongside the Studio Architects and will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on a wide range of local and international architectural projects. The position is located at Tesla's Global Headquarters in Austin and provides a unique opportunity to contribute to highly visible architectural design within the electric vehicle industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, quick to adapt, and must be a communicative team player.
What You'll Do
Design concept ideation
Research materials, finishes and systems
Produce architectural and interior detailing
Conduct site visits and observations reports for data gathering
Create renderings, diagrams and design presentations for executive level review
Communicate design proposals clearly, gather stakeholder feedback, and incorporate changes
Work with team to take projects from concept to completion
Project management: coordinate with engineering teams across multiple disciplines
Develop comprehensive architectural designs and construction documents
What You'll Bring
5 years professional working experience with a professional architecture firm
Bachelor's Degree in either architecture or interior design or equivalent experience
Software Proficiency: Modeling and documentation software (Revit (must), Rhino (preferred), Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Rendering (Enscape, TwinMotion))
Must provide a portfolio
