Job Description
The Studio Production Tech supports daily studio operations by building, maintaining, and executing high-quality production environments for photo and video shoots.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Build and adjust professional lighting setups for footwear and campaign shoots

Pull, organize, and manage product samples for studio productions

Construct and assemble custom props, furniture, and set elements

Prepare, paint, and maintain cyclorama (cyc) walls and studio surfaces

Support photographers, stylists, and creative teams during shoots

Maintain studio equipment, grip tools, and production materials

Ensure studio spaces are clean, safe, and production-ready

Assist with teardown, reset, and reconfiguration between shoots

Requirements
Must-Haves

2+ years of professional experience as a Studio Production Tech or Grip & Electric

Hands-on experience building and breaking down sets in TV, film, or commercial production

Experience operating Matthews grip equipment, Profoto lighting, and ARRI lighting systems

Strong working knowledge of studio lighting equipment and rigging

Carpentry, scenic painting, and basic construction skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

Experience working in fast-paced production studio environments

Nice-to-Haves

Experience supporting footwear or product photography

Freelance or gig-based production background

Strong sample and asset management skills

High attention to detail and brand presentation standards
