Surgical Tech - Operating Room

Location: Piedmont Fayette Hospital
Shift: 6:45 am - 5:15 pm; Call is Required
Status: Full-time
Department: Operating Room
Sign on Bonus: Up to $10,000 based on experience level.
Responsibilities:
Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
Qualifications:
Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology program Required
Work Experience
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required or
- 3 years of surgical tech experience Required
Licenses and Certifications
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred
