Business Development Manager, Small Modular Nuclear Reactors - Michels Preconstruction Services, Inc. The Michels Preconstruction Services team plays a critical role in developing large, complex energy, infrastructure, marine and transportation projects. The team works with customers to develop creative solutions that turn construction ideas into reliable outcomes, prioritizing safety, social and environmental responsibility, and the health and wellbeing of our people and communities. This position focuses on the Small Modular Nuclear Reactor market and involves building relationships, expanding Michels' brand, and developing a project pipeline with win strategies. You will engage clients and partners, educate stakeholders on collaborative delivery methods, participate in industry events, and work with management and marketing to drive growth through messaging and investment. You will provide direction to Proposal Managers and Marketing for collateral, ensure Salesforce CRM accuracy, and contribute to bid strategy and proposal development. You will participate in annual business planning by preparing industry insights and coordinating cross-selling opportunities, supporting the One Michels approach, and helping create high-quality proposal documents throughout the pursuit process.

What it takes? 10+ years of professional experience
Awareness of Small Modular Nuclear Reactors and industry stakeholders
Experience in construction and/or engineering industry required
Experience developing scopes with clients and communicating with internal stakeholders is required
Familiarity with public sector work desired
Experience presenting to large groups or forums
Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record
Travel required – will travel up to 50-60% of the time
