Computer Aided Design Technician

Review and analyze architectural and structural plans to develop detailed concrete profile plans
Assist in preparing comprehensive site plans, including crane layouts, concrete pumping plans, logistics coordination, and project scheduling plans
Incorporate redline revisions and ensure all design updates meet project specifications
Participate in project startup meetings to review requirements, design intent, and scheduling
Conduct project site visits for training, formwork system reviews, and collaboration with field teams
Prepare and submit RFI’s (Requests for Information) to clarify design or scope discrepancies
Requirements Associate's degree in CAD/Drafting Technology or equivalent hands-on experience (preferred)
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu (Navisworks experience is a plus)
Solid grasp of construction processes, particularly in concrete and structural systems
Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
Strong time management skills — able to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines
Good math aptitude, visualization, and presentation skills for converting structural drawings into accurate, buildable plans
Ability to identify and resolve drawing conflicts or inconsistencies efficiently
