We're looking for a hands-on Fabrication Helper to support our fabrication department and help keep production running smoothly. If you enjoy working with tools, machinery, and being part of a team, this could be a great fit. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a manufacturing environment and grow your skills.
We're looking for a hands-on Fabrication Helper to support our fabrication department and help keep production running smoothly. What You'll Do:
- Assist machine operators with daily fabrication tasks
- Load/unload parts from lasers, pallets, conveyors, and trucks
- Deburr parts, apply rust prevention, and load parts into tumblers
- Drill, tap, ream, and assemble components per specifications
- Help test completed products
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 months of manufacturing or fabrication experience (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to read simple instructions and follow procedures
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand, walk, and use hands throughout the shift
- Lift up to 75 lbs regularly (up to 80 lbs occasionally)
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Work Environment
- Exposure to moving machinery and airborne particles
- Moderate noise level
