Universal Television Entertainment Studio Finance Transformation Internship – Academic Year

Business Segment: Universal Television Entertainment

Compensation: USD 25 per hour

Academic Year Internship Program Details
Program Dates: September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027

Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business needs. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.

Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Universal City, CA.

Internship Responsibilities

Assist with project management activities such as tracking milestones, maintaining action logs, preparing status updates, and supporting meeting coordination.

Support business analysis and documentation, including process maps, requirements summaries, and executive‑ready materials.

Help analyze and synthesize information related to finance transformation projects, system pilots, and process improvement efforts.

Contribute to the preparation of executive readouts, presentations, and dashboards for senior leadership.

Support coordination with cross‑functional partners across Finance, Technology, and Operations.

Assist with research, data validation, and ad‑hoc analysis related to active transformation initiatives.

Support governance, knowledge sharing, and change enablement efforts tied to Studio Finance modernization and automation programs.

Basic Requirements

Must be actively enrolled in a degree‑granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2026 – April 2027). December 2026 graduates are not eligible for this Academic Year Internship Program.

Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).

Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future.

Must be available to work 16‑24 hours per week from September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027.

Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.

Desired Characteristics

Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to break down complex topics.

Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize information for executive audiences.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Curiosity and interest in business transformation, finance, and technology.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving project requirements.

Familiarity with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, or similar collaboration and productivity platforms.

Interest in learning about project management, finance operations, and digital transformation in a studio environment.

Compensation
The hourly rate for student interns is $25.00.
