The Media Supervisor, Search is a role within the Performance Media Team responsible for helping to develop, execute and report on media programs, focused primarily on search. As the Media Supervisor, Search this person will focus their efforts specifically around search campaigns but must have a working knowledge of other media programs to better understand the role that search plays within the larger media landscape. This position is actively involved in the development of search planning and strategy with a focus on ensuring flawless execution and reporting that aligns with campaign goals and objectives. This position ensures the accuracy of execution while delivering effective search programs that align and accomplish our client’s goals and objectives. This position plays an important role in helping to shape our processes for QA, execution and reporting, having extensive knowledge and experience with the ability to identify inefficiencies and improve our workflow. They will also play an integral role in developing relevant training programs and processes to ensure we create an environment of sharing and learning across all departments, teams and offices.

A big piece of the post-execution role will be ensuring we have reporting excellence and optimize our campaign regularly to ensure we meet our goals and objectives. This role will closely manage the launch and reporting process, ensuring paid media specialists and analytics FTEs align reporting and optimization recommendations back to original goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

Strategy/Planning & Presentation Development: Gain an understanding of audience and competitive research and the implication on media; Participate in planning as the lead on market and competitive research insights and implications as well as previous campaign performance. Outlines potential A/B testing opportunities i.e. Google vs Microsoft, ad copy variations, keyword bids

New Business: Assist senior media team members in the development of new business responses as applicable

Client Management: Continually seek ways to improve process to ensure flawless delivery and reporting, collaborating across Syneos agencies, client and partner agency teams to ensure we have the data to get the right results

Execution/Campaign & Project Management: Ensure flawless execution with a strong knowledge of program KPIs and media operations (trafficking, tagging, QA, etc) proactively providing campaign delivery reports with accuracy; continue to evolve our current process for improving media programs; Develop insertion orders for media campaigns following approved language; ensure we have media budget approval before releasing IOs; support and grow process to verify vendor invoices and approve for payment

Training, Mentoring & Onboarding: Proactively set up onboarding meetings for new employees, read & share appropriate industry updates, mentor and educate junior team members

Measurement & Reporting: Flawlessly execute optimizations, either directly in media systems or with partners; provide comprehensive optimization recommendations; identify and execute test & learns

Requirements

4 plus years of experience executing, and planning both SEM/PPC

You should have experience interacting directly with clients, building relationships and seeing great campaigns executed and reported on flawlessly.

You should have experience managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across all major search engines.

Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data

Certification in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads is required, additional Google Analytics experience preferred

Candidates should be free to travel as-needed to support the business.

Experience in pharma or healthcare is required

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
