SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday 6.5 hours per day Extra trips for field trips/sporting events, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Shall have a valid operator's license as required of school bus drivers in the State of Ohio.

2. Shall be of good moral character and adaptable to working around children.

3. Shall be required to pass a physical examination and are subject to random drug screening.

DUTIES
1. The bus driver shall be under the Transportation Supervisor.

2. Shall transport the pupils safely and with proper regard for their health and comfort.

3. Exercise a desirable moral and disciplinary influence over the pupils.

4. Maintain proper custody over the bus which he/she operates. (This includes cleaning of the bus.)

5. Notify Transportation Supervisor of all major repairs that the bus might need.

6. Shall conduct emergency drills during the first week of school on the proper way to leave the bus.

7. Shall follow the rules and regulations in the Bus Drivers' Handbook,

WORKDAY
Hours per day as designated by the OAPSE Master Agreement/Transportation Supervisor.
