Join Outova Shaping the Future of Outdoor LivingOne of our key businesses, Artificial Turf Supply, is seeking motivated Warehouse Associate's to join the team on a part time basis.Shifts we are looking to fill:7:00AM - 12:00PM11:00AM - 4:00PM Position Overview:The Warehouse Associate has key knowledge of industry specific concepts, practices, and procedures and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. They will perform warehouse duties such as packing and shipping sample products and materials, receiving new materials and stocking the warehouse with supplies. Works independently as well as under immediate supervision.Key Responsibilities:Handle incoming deliveries, and prepare outgoing sample box shipmentsCuts turf and stocks new sample inventory/warehouse supplies upon arrival.Works within the Goldmine system to prioritize work and update information accordinglySweeps warehouse and keeps warehouse work area tidy, dispose of trash as neededResponsible for the day-to-day operations of the sample warehouse. This includes maintaining appropriate inventory levels of all products, supplies, and printed materials by alerting management of sample warehouse inventory levels and shortages in a timely manner.Works directly with the Operations and HR Manager to identify areas where support is needed and provide assistance in various ways, as requested.Communicate with Sales Reps and / all other departments as needed to ensure proper distribution of sample boxes, make corrections and adjustments in Goldmine as neededEnsure any returned sample boxes are noted and determine work with EPASS team & management to determine best course of action for any returned itemProcess labels for shipping utilizing USPS and / or get UPS online printed as appropriate.Ensure sample boxes are picked up each day by either USPS or UPS, notify management if they are not picked up for any reason prior to end of shift.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).Previous warehouse experience (0-2 years)Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) or willingness to obtain certification.Basic math and organizational skills.Basic computer skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.Physical ActivitiesDaily activity includes but is not limited to:Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.Reading, communication, simple math.Standing on a fatigue mat in a specific area throughout a 10 hour+ shift.Be able to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.Compensation and Benefits:Hourly: Competitive hourly pay (non-exempt), commensurate with experiencePosition Type: Seasonal, part-timeBenefits: Paid time off only (not eligible for medical, dental, vision, or 401(k) benefits)Worksite: OnsiteOutova and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers and maintain affirmative action plans to recruit, retain, develop, and promote qualified individuals without unlawful consideration of race, gender, gender identity, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, citizenship status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
