
Electro-Mechanical Engineer II, Harness Design

Description: Join us at Lockheed Martin as an ElectroMechanical Engineer where you will be responsible for product design, development, and production support for the Cable and Interconnects team on the Next Generation Interceptor program.
Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Sunnyvale CA and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early to Mid Career Electromechanical Engineer. In this role, you will draft and release Zuken E3 schematics for missile wiring programs, create and release 3D wiring models, and support wiring fabrication and installation.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
Experience and/or knowledge of CAD Drafting (Zuken E3, Creo, or similar) and electrical or mechanical design.
1+ year(s) of experience.
While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; thus US Citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in a Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related discipline or relevant engineering/technician work experience without a degree.
CAD, CREO, or ZUKEN experience or education.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require the ability to obtain government security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Ability to work with multidisciplinary engineers
Good written and verbal communication skills
STEM focus and Mechanical Engineering fundamental principles, especially Design for Manufacturing.
Experience with Cable and Harness/flexible circuits.
Security Clearance Statement:

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 – $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $84,300 – $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
