Responsibilities: Performed setup and start-up of injection molding machines, robotics, printing, and packaging equipment, including documentation and first-piece approval Diagnosed and resolved process issues, documenting actions and making adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance Maintained efficient setup procedures and workflows to meet production schedules and coordinated priorities with management Trained employees on processing tasks, machine operation, and troubleshooting techniques Conducted mold changeovers and teardowns, ensuring proper storage, care, and handling of molds Operated forklifts and material handling equipment to support production and setup activities Recommended improvements to production processes, workflow, and equipment performance Coordinated with maintenance teams on equipment needs and ongoing projects Partnered with Quality Assurance to ensure products met specifications through inspections and quality checks Enforced safety procedures, including PPE use, ergonomics, and housekeeping standards, and reported safety concerns Supported overall injection team operations to maintain workflow and meet production goals Communicated professionally with employees and management, following proper chain of command Modeled strong professionalism, teamwork, and adherence to company policies Skills/Qualifications: Proficient in setup, troubleshooting, and operation of injection molding machinery Experienced in programming computerized controllers and maintaining process settings Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, quality specifications, and production documentation Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities Skilled in completing accurate production and employee-related documentation Solid basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals) Proficient in basic computer systems, including data collection and ERP/MRP entry Ability to build positive relationships and work effectively in team environments 3-5 years of injection molding experience, including setup, processing, and troubleshooting Experience working with polyethylene, ABS, nylon, engineered resins, and TPE Familiarity with blow molding processes (preferred) Certified in powered industrial equipment operation (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) Trained in Level 2 saw operation Benefits: Dental insurance.
