The Coordinator, Media supports the Media department in executing media and publicity plans for a roster of artists. They keep projects organized, on schedule, and within budget, delivering standout moments that elevate our artists and brands.
Responsibilities
Maintain/update publicity database and materials
Research, clip, and circulate relevant press hits
Process department invoices, purchase orders, expenses, etc.
Coordinate travel, calendar management, and scheduling needs for the department
Assist in booking press days and cover when necessary
Keep up with relevant industry/entertainment news
Tour, online, regional print/TV and fanzine press
Work with artist’s management to schedule and facilitate interviews (in-person and over the phone)
Pitch writers in local markets to obtain press coverage for artists on tour
Work occasional projects as assigned
Write and/or edit press releases, media alerts and biographies
Assist and work at label and special events including awards shows
Coordinate servicing of advanced music and press materials
Handle requests for tickets and photo passes
Assist in booking artist glam and styling
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills & Abilities
Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills
Flexible – able to adjust to changing priorities, and able to multi‑task
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced working environment
Self‑motivated, proactive, and resourceful
Excellent follow‑through and attention to detail
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of our company at all levels including Sr. Management
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Uniport/SAP
Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Music industry a plus
