Shipping and Receiving Specialist
Shipping and Receiving Operator. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, packaging, and shipping products in a controlled production environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in shipping/receiving or warehousing within a manufacturing setting and be comfortable following detailed procedures and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against documentation.
Photograph and label incoming products for tracking and quality purposes.
Package, label, and prepare outgoing shipments according to order specifications.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Maintain accurate inventory records and notify supervisor of low stock or material needs.
Verify shipping documentation for accuracy prior to outbound delivery.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Adhere to safety standards, including wearing required PPE and ESD (anti-static) gear when handling materials.
Follow all company policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prior shipping/receiving experience required (manufacturing experience preferred).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs with assistance).
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Additional Information:
This role may require wearing PPE and protective gear to prevent damage to sensitive materials.
Work is performed in a climate-controlled production environment.
