About the Role: Inventory Supervisor
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the execution of Cannabis Inventory processes within the dispensary to ensure compliance with state regulations, and prompt availability of Cannabis Inventory to our patients and customers once received.
How youll make a difference:
Oversees and coordinates inventory processes within the dispensary ensuring adherence to inventory management protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements

Establish and maintain appropriate levels of sellable cannabis and non-cannabis inventory, to show for online ordering, but not overstocking

Performs accurate maintenance of the digital and physical tracking and organization of all Cannabis inventory within the dispensary with close attention to detail

Responsible for visual merchandising of all in-store products in accordance with company guidelines

Verifies physical inventory received matches order expectation and delivery manifests before accepting delivered product.

Process, document, and communicate returns with Manager and Retail Buyer and monitor for trends

Document and process quarantined items, including manifesting out and return to vendor process

Assist with stocking of deliveries after received and processed

Assists in conducting daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts and audits within the facility.

Provides necessary labels and documents to assist dispensary team in tracking capabilities

Assists in the maintenance of analysis reports on external product that informs inventory decisions by the Buyer and attends weekly ordering call with the Buyer.

Draft weekly vendor orders and send to buyer for review and order placement.

Analyze menu trends from competitors and establish pricing strategies with Retail Buyer

Implement efficiencies to maintain organization of sellable and vault inventories

Complete weekly destruction with other Lead employees

Manage expiring inventory and messaging of promotions to team

Adheres to state and company policies, following the appropriate Standard Operating Procedure according to assigned task

Maintains a clean, safe environment and ensures secure storage of inventory.

Serves as a resource for dispensary staff concerning product knowledge and new product information

Additional tasks as assigned by the manager

Skills to be Successful:
Education and Experience:
High school degree or equivalent required
Must have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience
Cash Management and Inventory control experience
Computers and Technology:
Highly Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong knowledge of and proficiency with Point of Sale, inventory and transaction tracking systems used to facilitate sales and operations.
Schedule:
Must have night and weekend availability working non-traditional business hours periodically to maintain appropriate oversight and approachability for all shifts
