Through strong grower partnerships and a global sourcing network, the company delivers high-quality fresh fruit to retail, wholesale, and foodservice customers throughout North America. Our product portfolio is primarily focused on berries including strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries which represent the core of our year-round programs. By working closely with growers across the United States and the Americas, Always Fresh Farms provides consistent supply, premium quality, and reliable service to our customers. Position Overview

Always Fresh Farms is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the expansion of our fresh berry programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in fresh produce sales, account management, and supply coordination, with a strong understanding of market trends within the berry category. This individual should be highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable operating in the fast-paced environment of the fresh produce industry.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow relationships with existing retail, wholesale, and foodservice customers.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share for Always Fresh Farms' products, particularly within the berry category.
Drive sales growth through strategic planning, pricing analysis, and market development.
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
Support year-round sales programs for strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
Coordinate with sourcing, growers, and operations to ensure product availability and customer fulfillment.
Monitor market trends, supply conditions, and pricing dynamics within the fresh berry and produce markets.
Communicate relevant market insights to customers and internal teams.
Deliver exceptional service by acting as a trusted partner to customers.
Provide timely communication regarding product availability, quality, and market conditions.
Work closely with growers, logistics teams, and operations to ensure efficient product movement and order fulfillment.
Represent Always Fresh Farms at produce industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
Monitor account receivables and support efforts to minimize financial risk.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Communications, Marketing or equivalent field.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work-related experience in sales.
Proven experience in fresh produce sales or account management preferred.
Knowledge of berry markets (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries) strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of produce supply chains, pricing strategies, and logistics.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced produce sales environment.
