About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Events, who will be responsible for developing and leading the global events strategy for Laborie, delivering high-impact corporate events, physician education programs, and strategic customer engagement initiatives. This role oversees a global portfolio of medical congresses, training programs, advisory boards, corporate events and internal commercial events across Urology, Gastroenterology, and Maternal and Child Health. You'll partner closely with global marketing, commercial, and clinical education to support business priorities, deliver measurable impact, strengthen healthcare professionals (HCP) relationships, elevate brand presence, and drive product adoption worldwide. This role requires 3040% global travel to support key medical congresses, physician training programs, and internal commercial meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Laborie's global events strategy is aligned with commercial priorities across all business units.
Develop a multi-year international and regional congress roadmap.
Partner with global marketing and regional commercial teams to support product launches and market growth.
Support corporate events such as global town halls, CEO and Executive Leadership Team events and meetings.
Support high-impact physician education initiatives including Clinical training workshops, Product training courses and Advisory boards with key opinion leaders
Partner with Marketing and Clinical Education teams to ensure programs deliver meaningful clinical value and align with scientific messaging.
Conference and Trade Show Leadership
Plan and execute Laborie's presence at major international and regional medical congresses.
Oversee booth strategy, programming, physician engagement, and sales support activities.
Ensure consistent brand presentation and operational excellence across events.
Balance business unit priorities and coordinate resources to maximize impact across therapeutic areas.
Budget, Vendors and Performance
Own the global events budget and manage agency and vendor partners.
Track and report event KPIs, including engagement, lead generation, and customer feedback.
Drive continuous improvement across the global events portfolio.
Provide post-event analysis and insights to senior leadership and business unit leaders.
Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and maximize event ROI.
Minimum Qualifications
810+ years of global event management experience, preferably within medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
Experience leading a global team supporting multi-business unit or multi-product portfolios in a global organization.
Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and global budgets across multiple regions, with expertise in vendor negotiation
Strong project management and operational execution.
Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.
