SLIDE ATTENDANT
Position Summary
Slide Attendants monitor waterslide towers and dispatch areas, assist guests, and support a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience throughout the park's attractions.
Essential Functions
* Maintain surveillance of slide towers and dispatch areas.
* Control slide flow and guest organization to ensure safe operations.
* Respond to guest and employee emergencies and alert appropriate personnel.
* Maintain proficiency in park knowledge, basic life support, and first aid skills.
* Attend scheduled trainings and participate in regular skill audits.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned areas.
* Practice safe work habits, including proper lifting and hazard reporting.
* Work effectively as part of a team.
* Provide professional, friendly service to all guests.
* Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Qualifications
* Must be at least 16 years of age.
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to remain calm, recognize safety concerns, and make sound decisions.
* Willingness to comply with grooming guidelines and employment standards.
* Ability to successfully complete all legal, company, and departmental training requirements.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
* Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
* Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and respond quickly to operational needs.
* Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.
Pre-Employment & Certification Requirements
Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining SGE Basic Life Support certification and completion of all required training programs.
Hawaiian Falls hosts pre-employment certification classes at an approximate cost of $25, which covers the certification course.
