Overview
This position is responsible for the collateral of 84 Lumber Company, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and outside customers. The Production Artist assists design teams primarily in producing print, packaging, advertising, point‑of‑purchase and digital graphics. The most common duty for a Production Artist is preflight formatting, in addition to collecting, processing, checking and uploading files. This position works closely with the sales team and sign shop manager to create print‑ready artwork. The incumbent must be able to multi‑task various projects (inserts, ads, billboards, brochures, etc.) in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
Design print‑ready artwork for large and small format production
Educate yourself to maintain trade knowledge
Maintain a creative agenda
Maintain software
Qualifications
Internet/Spreadsheet software
Design software
Word processing
Ability to read and comprehend documents (e.g., policy and procedure manuals); write routine reports and correspondence; speak/present in front of a small group.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
